Eve Willis - Front Desk and Fundraising Volunteer
While Wellspring Halton-Peel was celebrating its ten-year anniversary, Eve Willis was also celebrating her ten-year anniversary as a Wellspring Halton-Peel volunteer. Eve volunteers at the front desk and has also been a transportation volunteer. She understands what Wellspring members are feeling and the many questions that arise with a cancer diagnosis, as she has a history of cancer in her family.
Eve feels that it is a privilege to work at Wellspring, not only because of their much needed support in the Oakville community, but also because of the connectedness between volunteers, members and staff. "People who come through that door every day teach us all spirit, courage and humility...it's a special place and I feel proud to be a part of it."
